The candle wax is dripping down;
It's flickering flame so bright!
This special candle is lit for you,
In your memory, this special night.

Tonight I'm holding you close again;
Remembering our eternal love.
Whispering choked "I miss you's";
Up to the stars above.

And as I watch this candle dim,
My tears starting now to fade,
Knowing the happiness of reunion;
Is the PROMISE that HE made.
